Use SmallForce in ChatGPT, Claude, and Codex
SmallForce exposes a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) service. A connection is bound to one organization selected during SmallForce OAuth. The client never chooses an organization by sending an ID with a tool call.
Connect safely
- Add the official SmallForce connector or MCP server in the AI client.
- Sign in to SmallForce and select one organization.
- Review the requested permission groups. Files, email, calls, and advertising are read only. Social access can save private drafts. Employee chat is its own permission.
- Begin with company status or another read-only request.
SmallForce rechecks the bearer token, current organization membership, role, plan, Company OS readiness, and required scope on delegated calls. An internal service credential cannot select a user or organization by itself.
What the assistant can do
- Company: check your plan and whether your Company OS is ready.
- Calls: list recent calls and open one call’s transcript, summary, and outcome. Recordings play inside the rendered view.
- Files: browse, search, and read files in your Company OS workspace.
- Email: read your SmallForce-managed mailboxes: the newest conversations, a whole thread, or one message.
- Employees: list your AI employees and chat with one of them.
- Social: compare account performance, open one post’s analytics, find your strongest posting times, list existing posts, and compose a post with media that is saved as a private draft.
- Advertising: a performance report across your Meta, Google, and TikTok accounts.
What stays in SmallForce HQ
The connection does not send or reply to email, publish or schedule posts, write files, connect accounts, create employees, or change ad campaigns. Ask the assistant for a reply and it drafts the text for you to send from SmallForce HQ. Ask it to publish a post and it saves a private draft you can publish or schedule from HQ.
Chatting with an employee
An employee chat is an ordinary chat your team can see in SmallForce HQ. The employee works with the access your business gave it, the same as when you ask it in HQ, so it can change files or act in connected apps when that access allows. The assistant confirms each task with you before handing it over, and the employee can decline when your business does not let you ask it. You can stop a running task from the chat view.
Rich views and ordinary tool results
Compatible hosts can render SmallForce views for company status, calls, files, email, employees, social, and advertising. The same tools also return concise text and typed structured data, so the workflows remain usable when a host does not render a view. A host’s surrounding chat composer is part of that host, not the SmallForce view: you continue an employee chat by writing there.
Revoke access
Remove SmallForce from the AI client’s connector settings or revoke the client in SmallForce. See SmallForce support for connection troubleshooting and deletion requests.
