Route integration events and execute provider tools
List events from the intended connection, inspect the payload and current rule, then configure the employee and instructions:
smallforce integrations events list --connection <connectionId>
smallforce integrations events get <eventSlug> --connection <connectionId>
smallforce integrations events configure <eventSlug> \
--connection <connectionId> \
--profile operator \
--instructions "Summarize the event and identify the required next action." \
--session event
Choose the conversation strategy based on the workflow. Independent events should not accidentally inherit unrelated context; related events may benefit from a stable workflow conversation.
For provider actions, search by intent and inspect the exact schema before execution:
smallforce integrations tools search "send an email"
smallforce integrations tools get GMAIL_SEND_EMAIL --json
smallforce integrations tools execute GMAIL_SEND_EMAIL \
--connection <connectionId> \
--input '{"to":"customer@example.com","subject":"Hello","body":"Hi"}'
Require approval for sensitive communications, destructive actions, financial changes, or any other action covered by organization policy. See the complete smallforce integrations reference.
