# SmallForce searchable workspace

The workspace is the organization’s working area for files and business knowledge. Files placed there can be browsed by people and used by AI employees with access to that organization.

Supported files are indexed so a search can find exact phrases and conceptually related passages. This lets an employee locate the relevant source before answering questions or creating new work.

## What belongs in a workspace

- Brand guidelines and approved creative.
- Product, service, and pricing information.
- Client briefs and campaign plans.
- Policies, procedures, and reference documents.
- Spreadsheets and reports.
- Meeting recordings and transcripts.
- Website and application projects.
- Research and employee-created deliverables.

Organize files around durable business concepts: clients, departments, campaigns, or projects. Descriptive names improve browsing and make search results easier to recognize.

## Searchable does not mean public

Workspace search is for the organization’s own files and knowledge. Public web research is a different capability. An employee should use workspace sources for customer-specific facts and live web research for current public information.

The public product contract is simple: add supported files, allow indexing to complete, then search or ask an employee to locate the relevant information. Internal storage locations and indexing implementation are not part of the public interface.
