# What is SmallForce?

SmallForce gives an organization AI employees that can understand instructions, work with business files, use connected applications, and complete multi-step work. It is built for ongoing operations rather than isolated prompts.

An agency can use SmallForce to launch a client website, prepare campaign creative, manage social publishing, operate Meta Ads, research a market, handle calls, and follow up with leads. A small business can use the same platform without managing a collection of disconnected AI tools.

## The main parts

**AI employees** receive tasks through chat and connected channels. Each employee can have a role, instructions, and access to the tools needed for that role.

**The workspace** holds business files and generated knowledge. Supported documents are indexed so employees can find relevant information by exact wording or meaning before answering.

**Channels and apps** let you work from the web, desktop, mobile, Apple Watch, Slack, or Telegram. Conversations remain attached to the employee and the work instead of being limited to one device.
