# Search meeting transcripts and create follow-up work

Once transcription completes, a meeting becomes part of the organization’s searchable knowledge.

Search with the business question you are trying to answer rather than only the meeting title:

- “When did the client approve the homepage?”
- “Which launch risks did we discuss?”
- “Meetings that mentioned a budget above $5,000.”
- “Who agreed to prepare the campaign assets?”

Open the matching transcript before relying on exact wording. A short search excerpt may omit qualifications or surrounding discussion.

## Useful employee tasks

- Summarize the meeting for a client or internal team.
- Extract decisions separately from suggestions.
- Create action items with owners and dates.
- Draft follow-up email without inventing commitments.
- Compare this meeting with an earlier brief.
- Add approved information to a project plan.

Include the intended audience and output format in the request. Ask the employee to cite or quote the transcript when accuracy is important.
