# SmallForce desktop app for macOS

The desktop app provides a desktop-first SmallForce workspace without copying the web dashboard experience. Use it for employee conversations, files, generated website projects, and other work that benefits from a persistent desktop window.

Select the correct organization and workspace before starting a task. Files added through the desktop experience become available through the same organization workspace and searchable knowledge surfaces.

## Meeting recording on macOS

On supported macOS systems, SmallForce can record microphone audio and meeting audio playing on the Mac after the required permissions are granted. Screen video is not saved. Completed recordings can be uploaded, transcribed, reviewed, and deleted from the meeting experience.

Recording availability and permission behavior depend on the operating system. Follow the in-app permission guidance, confirm local recording controls before a meeting starts, and comply with applicable consent laws.
